This poster was made for independent women-owned filmmakers they made a women's filmmaker's festival.
They always used image-based posters for 4 years and they came to me to make a change in 5th year and asked for Illustrative posters. This is an international festival for women applicants from all around the world. I found this a very powerful subject and used it on my poster to represent women from all backgrounds. The second step was because, in the film industry, women underestimate I used a curtain / ripped paper to give an idea we women coming strong and forcing our boundaries.
